Four Advantages Of Wearing Shoes
Shoes are not only for adults but also for children and even infants as well. People wear shoes for a number of reasons. Some see shoes as part of the fashion trend while others see shoes as a part of their overall health. The fashion world has redefined one's opinion on shoes and it has become no more than a part of a wardrobe.
Children may not be as fashion conscious as the adults but they too would prefer to wear shoes that are cool and trendy. These kids have their own taste and most of the time it is not in line with that of the adult's. It doesn't really matter to them how high the heels are or how pointy their shoes are. In reality there is more to shoes than just a mere fashion trend or being a part of the wardrobe. Shoes can play a part in your children's health too.
1. Protection. Shoes protect your young one's feet from the unseen bacteria found on the ground. It also protects them from stepping unto broken shards of glass or misplaced rusty nails. We all know how dirty the ground can be; it can be filled with anything ranging from garbage to microscopic microorganisms that can or cannot cause illnesses. But prevention is always better than cure. With your children wearing the right kind of shoes, you are assured that they won't step unto something unfriendly.
2. Development. With the right kind of shoe, your children will be able to develop healthy feet. Shoes sometimes serve as moulds for your child's feet. That is why it is important to buy them shoes that are a perfect fit; something that is neither too tight nor too big for them.
3. Support. High cut shoes are designed to protect the ankles. When your child is into basketball or any athletic activity, it would be best that you let him or her wear hi-cut shoes. If the ankles don't have proper support, it can end up sprained or dislocated.
To keep your child from suffering whenever he's into some athletic activity, provide him or her with the right kind of shoes. Children may have variations when it comes to the arching of their feet. Some may have high arcs, some low arcs. The cushioning of the shoes will depend on the type of foot arc your child has. These cushions will support the arc allowing your child to balance better.
4. Optimum Function. With shoes on, children will be able to do whatever they want. They can engage in various activities like running, jogging, climbing the monkey bars and more. Doing these activities while wearing flip flops or slippers is rather hard and can even put them at risk for accidents. Shoes allow children to function optimally. It doesn't restrict them to particular activities provided that the shoes are right.
Shoes are not reserved for fashion. It can also take part in improving and maintaining your child's health. So don't take shoes for granted.
