Four Tell Tale Signs Of A Good Shoe
Shoes have become an essential part of our wardrobe. Without shoes, a perfect get up wouldn't be complete. There are also times when these footsies serve as a fashion statement.
As the years continue to pass the design of each shoe never ceases to evolve. Shoe designers never run out of inspirations. Some shoes are patterned after a particular object or a particular geometric shape with unusual designs and these seem to draw a lot of attention.
A pair of shoes often will also determine whether or not you are fashion disaster. For women it is really important not to commit a fashion crime and they are willing to do what it takes to avoid such even if it means sacrificing comfort.
Not all pairs of shoes (as beautiful these may look) are comfortable to wear. Shoes are made of various materials and some of these materials are not feet friendly. We can't deny that shoes with a one of a kind design never fail to catch our attention but great design doesn't necessarily mean great comfort.
When we go shopping for shoes we consider a lot of things. But wouldn't it be great if you can already tell if it's a good pair or not before trying it on? Well here are some of those things that can serve as a tell tale sign of a good shoe.
1. High quality material. A good shoe is usually made of high quality materials. Shoes of quality may come a little bit pricey but you will be assured that the materials used are not substandard or of a lesser quality. The better the material the longer your shoe will last.
2. Heels. Experts highly recommend flat shoes since with flat shoes your feet are parallel to the ground. When a shoe is considered flat the heels should not be more than one inch. Your feet endure less pressure and stress every time you wear flat shoes. In the case of high heels, a high heeled shoe is considered good if its heel height is not more than two inches.
3. Soles. We can never tell what's on the pavement and there will also be times when we have to tread on a rather slippery floor. There are also situations wherein we are required to run or jog or walk very fast. A good shoe should be able to sustain this and for a shoe to do such its soles should be shock absorbing and at the same time skid resistant. With good soles, you will be able to walk at any pace you prefer.
4. Laces and straps. Good shoes must have either laces or straps in order to provide a more secure fit. Laces and straps keep your shoes from falling off especially when you are walking very fast. Having to stoop down or stop once in a while just to put your shoes back on can really be annoying and time consuming.
Whatever the design may be as long as you feel comfortable in those shoes, then go for it. The above mentioned qualities of a good shoe can serve as your guide as you go shoe shopping.
