How To Pack Your Shoes When You Travel

Packing has been a major problem for people traveling. This is mostly a problem for a person who only wants to bring just a few small suitcases. Another problem that travelers encounter are creased clothes and deformed shoes. Actually, the shoes are the most affected ones when packed.

If it is possible, try to purchase the shoe suitcase. If you are not aware, yes, there are suitcases that are designed for shoes although they come quite expensive because of the material they use to make them. Besides only well-known luggage makers like Louis Vitton manufacture shoe suitcases.

These bags are designed just like the bag used for bowling balls but a little bigger in size. They are also designed to be hard but lightweight. These bags ensure that your shoes are not damaged or deformed. The suitcase for shoes can accommodate around two or three pairs at the most. If you cannot purchase the suitcase for the shoes, what you can do is just use another suitcase for all the shoes that you want to bring with you.

If you do not have the budget and cannot purchase the suitcase for your shoes, there are the shoe pouches and shoe bags that you can use. These shoe pouches are usually made of white canvas with a pull string. If you are using one suitcase for everything just try to allot space for your shoes. If you are bringing with you mostly sandals or flipflops, one shoe bag can manage two to four pairs of them. However, if you are bringing with you a black high-heeled shoes or sandal, it is best to separate them from the flipflops.

There are also shoe bags that are the same size of the pull string backpacks. These shoe bags can be used separately from your suitcase and you can just use it as a hand carry. Another option are the shoe bags that are quite cheaper but can only hold one pair of shoes or possibly one pair of flipflops or slippers. The shoe bag is designed to be bigger than a clutch bag with zipper and has a handle on one end.

Here are a few practical tips on how to avoid deforming your shoes. These tips are certainly used to protect your shoes and not add more things to whatever you are bringing with you. It would actually be a space saver altogether.

If you are bringing with you pairs of pants, to economize the space and at the same time protect your shoes, you can use them to wrap your shoes especially if the shoes are made of leather. For example, you can use the slacks to wrap a high-heeled sandal. Denim pants are best use to wrap leather shoes since they are thicker and harder to press down when rolled around the shoes.

You can also use your socks to avoid deformity on your closed leather shoes. Place the socks inside the shoes and try to push it until you fill up the front area then another sock or socks to fill the heel area. This way when your shoes are all filled-up, even if your suitcase will be tossed around in the baggage counter at the airport your shoes will be protected.

Nowadays, students who are traveling just tie their rubber shoes around the handle of their hand carry bag or backpacks.
